World Technology Conference

We attended and supported the World Technology Conference on Friday 6th September held in the magnificent House of Lords.

In an outstanding event, the issues surrounding AI and its progression were keenly discussed and debated. What was clearly agreed is the complex and far-reaching impact AI will have across the Globe and the fact that it is here to stay. As such the need to try and understand the impact it will have is crucial.

We heard from a host of speakers such as Michael Mainelli, Lord Mayor of London, Matt Armstrong Barnes, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lord Chris Holmes, Viscount Camrose, Marcus Paleti, CEO of Laureti, Dimitrios Kokosioulis, Deputy CEO Doha Bank, Ryadh Djebbar CEO Qapi and Dominica Haberova CEO World Technology Congress.

It was a fascinating afternoon and evening of senior level interaction with lots of conversation around this key topic of AI and trying to manage the situation retrospectively after the “genie has got out of the lamp!”.
