Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received or given?
A: Best Advice Received: "Cast your bread upon the waters; may the receding tide carry it away and the rising tide return it. In due time, you will reap its rewards after many days.” Best Advice Given: "Never give up and keep pushing forward. Let no disappointment defeat you. Believe in yourself and extend kindness to everyone you meet."
Q: What is something you wish you’d always known?
A: I wish I’d understood sooner how leveraging failure as a learning tool is fundamental to achieving monumental success. Each setback provides invaluable lessons that drive refinement, resilience, and ultimately, transformative breakthroughs.
Q: What does your typical working day look like?
A: I start my day early but always skip breakfast, never been a breakfast person. I avoid checking emails and messages first thing, giving myself a clear head before diving into work. My mornings are for tackling the most challenging tasks, whether it's a complex coding problem or a business decision, I try to get them done before noon. I also use this time for anything I find boring, just to get it out of the way. After that, I catch up with my team, discussing both work and new ideas. If I hit a roadblock, I reset by playing video games. Evenings are a mix of unwinding and productivity, I catch up on books, TV series, or a movie, and sometimes go out.
